Chinese New Year Warehouse Closures

Hi there, and welcome to our boutique!

First, we want to thank you for stopping and shopping with us!  We greatly appreciate your business.

Secondly, we'd like to share with you a bit about how Chinese New Year might effect the shipping of our items: As we have explained in our FAQ, we are a small boutique and many of our items ship directly from the manufacturer to our customers.  While this does allow us to carry many fun, fashionable finds for your little fashionista, many of the manufacturers' warehouses are located in China, and when the Chinese New Year comes around almost all of the factories shut down to celebrate the holiday.  

When is the holiday observed?  A two week period: February 5th-February 17th.

What does this mean for you, our customer?  This means there could be a shipping delay of up to two weeks on your items, depending on when you place your order.

Does Jadey's Closet offer any items shipped from the USA?  Yes, we do!  While there is a more limited selection, any items that ship from our boutique in the US are listed under the QUICK SHIP heading in our Collections menu.

Are customers still able to place an order during Chinese New Year?  Yes, absolutely!  We just want to be completely transparent that there may be a delay in the shipping of your items, depending upon where they are shipping from.  For your convenience we outline all shipping times and locations in the Description tab on each Item's Page.  To simplify: if your item is shipping directly from an overseas warehouse or manufacturer, then there will be a shipping delay in observation of the holiday.  If the item is shipping out of the USA (all QUICK SHIP items), then there will not be a delay, and items should ship under there usual timelines.

While we understand this is a frustrating inconvenience, we hope it will not dissuade you from continuing to shop with us!   We promise come February 18th, shipping times will resume as normal, and in the interim we encourage you to shop our QUICK SHIP Collection, as we update the Selection of Products frequently.  If you have any questions, please reach out to us at hello@jadeyscloset.com .
